A liminal space. In a perfect world the internal temple contains all the necessary ritual implements to perform the work of gnosis, invocation, evocation, etc. A connection forged with the aether from the inside out. The external temple will welcome you. Breathe in and feel as though you stand on the threshold between here and there, here and the unknown. Like the environment befriends you. These exterior spaces help build the internal temple. Maybe your temple looks like a clearing in the woods, an old ruin, the vegetable isle of the grocery store, a garage where people fight. The way it feels becomes way more important than how it looks. Work here, it will help to create that link between the inside and the outside. Everytime you visit, you will forge the link stronger and stronger. Measure your signs of success.
